IN YOUR EYES

By Vera Von Monika

In the stillness between our words,
where silence speaks louder than sounds,
I find the warmth of your gaze,
softly meeting mine, where truth abounds.

In your eyes, I see the stories untold,
a universe in the way you look at me,
a place where time pauses,
and love is an endless sea.

I don’t need grand gestures to know,
that in your eyes, you see my soul.
With every glance, with every breath,
you make me feel beautifully whole.

You’ve given me more than words could say,
in the way you see me, day by day.
Not in gifts or promises broken,
but in the quiet moments left unspoken.

So, in your eyes, I find my place,
a world of warmth, of gentle grace.
For in your gaze, I understand
the beauty of simply being held by your hand.
