ECLIPSE
By Vera Von Monika
In our skies,
different winds blow,
whispers of the past, soft and slow.
A fleeting touch, a moment’s grace,
where time dissolves in empty space.
An eclipse, where light retreats,
and shadows speak in quiet beats.
A silken pull, a deepened ache,
between the heart and what’s at stake.
In our skies,
different winds shift,
carrying the weight of all we’ve lived.
Yet in the dark, we find our way,
guided by stars that fade to gray.
The moon, a mirror of what we’ve lost,
reflects the cost of time’s soft frost.
In this eclipse, we stand unknown,
searching for the light we once had known.
In our skies,
different winds hum,
echoes of a love not yet undone.
A fleeting promise, a distant call,
waiting for the moment we can fall.
An eclipse of hearts, where silence grows,
in the spaces where the darkness flows.
But from shadow, a spark will rise,
a love reborn beneath quiet skies.
In our skies,
different winds blow,
and in this stillness, we begin to know
that even in the dark, we’re never apart,
for the eclipse always brings light to the heart.
