During Paris Fashion Week, I had a small interview with Camille Dubois, a Parisian Stylist & Creative Consultant, to discuss the standout trends and accessories defining this season.

What stood out most this season?

The resurgence of high-volume silhouettes was undeniable. Designers like Dior and Saint Laurent embraced oversized proportions—think sculptural hoop skirts and balloon-like outerwear—creating a cocoon-like effect that resonated with the current desire for personal space and comfort in fashion.

Which accessory or detail defined the season?

Opera gloves were everywhere. From Schiaparelli’s dramatic capes to Valentino’s ethereal gowns, these gloves added a theatrical flair, transforming each ensemble into a statement piece.

How do you see these trends influencing street style?

The high-volume trend is already making its way to the streets. Fashion enthusiasts are pairing oversized coats with sleek leggings and sculptural heels, blending comfort with avant-garde aesthetics.

Any advice for young stylists attending Fashion Week?

Embrace the unexpected. This season was about pushing boundaries—oversized silhouettes, dramatic accessories, and bold statements. Don’t be afraid to experiment and make your mark.
